Eco-Friendly Actions Assist Against The Death of Mother Earth
The human race has evolved in the fullness of time, a journey that began as the primitive being; entirely contingent on the magnificent ambiance of environmental surroundings – advancing forth, mankind has become sovereigns to technological kingdoms. Distorted seems the reality that once time passed, unhurriedly, changing with the seasons; as mankind forged from the land for shelter, food, water, and even fire — solely at the mercy, in times long ago, of Mother Earth. Emergent, human competence and intellectual thought provided the capability for innovation; enabling increased sustainability – as a plethora of progressive developments lead to the modernism of today. Preliminary needs, such as fire and tools, have advanced to all inclusive diffusion of technology and industry; innovation shadows each aspect of humanity — providing comfort and endless sustainability, at a cost to the Earth that lead to that evolution.
In primitive time’s mankind and the environment shared a mutual bond of respect; thankful for substances provided for survival, in return man functioned to provide for Mother Earth’s preservation — seen often as sacred. Historical innovation came and continued at a ghastly price of forsaken respect; penetrating nature’s natural resources, removing without the critical concept of replenishing. Utilizing resources that had never been violated by mass purging techniques, mankind possessed no scientific research to prove its detriment; believing Mother Earth would continue on course with regeneration, as the bond between man and Earth ceased with prideful innovative practice. Detrimental innovation largely impacted the environment, so much so, that without the proper protective measures the bond between Mother Each and mankind will conclude in existence; an inevitable disintegration bound to happen is changes are not made, as the world today subsists in grave danger.
Ecological balances, productive to sustainably, are in massive disarray as globally the world faces countless tribulations leading towards a slow demise; including but not limited to global warming, greenhouse gases, habitat destruction, natural conservation loss, overpopulation, pollution, sea level rise, soil contamination, species extinction, etc. — despite placing in effect massive protective measures, reflecting that more has to be done in efforts of defense. Mankind, globally, must be properly educated to yield respect that was once freely given to our Earth; as inhabitants of this planet must assume a level of responsibility. World-wide responsibility begins with proper knowledge, thus the distress leading to the destruction of the Earth’s ability to maintain a proper balance must be understood; broad in details, so to grasp a better corrective measurement. Education begins a step at a time, within a revolutionized twenty-first century of use-generated content proper philosophy has proliferated a social media era; allowing for millions to know appropriate facts — such as the grouping of issues below, detailed by sourced Wikipedia.
→ Global Warming — Charted as a steady rise in the average temperature near the surface of the Earth atmosphere and oceans, measured statically since the twentieth century. Scientific evidence concludes that the reason for such rise is directly linked to the concentrations of greenhouse gases; due to human actions that include an increase usage of fossil fuels, burning, deforestation and so forth. Charted rises, in climate change, from the pre-industrial time frame to the 1950s, target solar radiation and volcanism. Increasing temperatures yield rising sea levels and also specifically alter the pattern and amount of weather precipitation; a scientific reason for a subtropical desert enlargement, over a period of time that has already begin. Related effects are scientifically likely; including the already charted global extremity of weather changes, the extinction of various species of life, and dangerous changes in crop production. Effects from climate change, also known as global warming, are endorsed by more than forty scientific research agencies in the United States and many more internally.
→ Greenhouse Gases — Increased by human activity, these gases occur naturally within Earth’s atmosphere and act to absorb and emit radiation within thermal infrared ranges; yet natural levels are controlled, unlike the rapidly charted increase. Carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone, and water vapor are common greenhouse gases; each is escalating at a rapid deadly levels. With abundant swelling in amount the Earth temperature increases drastically; without such amplifation, the temperate of the Earth will be 59 degrees (F) cooler then it currently is; these instable increases have been charted since the start of the industrial era of 1750, and show no signs of cooling or decrease. The global warming potential (GWP) depends upon on efficiency of molecules and atmospheric lifetime results; each greenhouse gas has a variable integer to each product; in example methane has a atmospheric lifetime rate of an averaged twelve years and yields a GWP of 72 over 20 years while carbon dioxide cannot be measured due to a variable lifetime. In a associated effect carbon monoxide elevates concentrations of both methane and troposphere ozone, though scavenging of atmospheric constitutes and would otherwise destroy each — though natural processes monoxide is turned into dioxide, though a process of oxidation. Carbon monoxide has an atmospheric lifetime of a short few months but is spatially more variable than longer lived gases; this directly contributes to ozone level formation.
→ Habitat Destruction — The result of rendering a habitat, or living environment, unable to support species that inhabit it; including the smallest of organisms to the giant of animals – these animals are displaced and/or destroyed which yield significant population decreases and/or the extinction of life. Habitat devastation results directly from the activity of a human culprit; includes mining, logging, netting for fish, and urban sprawl — while the main purpose is to harvest natural resources for industry production and sustainability of urbanization. Consequences of such habitat reduction include noise and water pollution, habitat fragmentation, climate change, invasive species, and changes in nutrients within the proper ecosystem for survival — as well as the above mentioned. The rapid global overpopulation is increasing the world’s food requirement substantially, logically resulting in increased habitat loss to feed the large numbers — an impending global food crisis will become a major source for destruction of habitats, and has already been charted. Solutions for such damage include but are not limited to; developing family planning programs in urban areas of rapid population growth, developing techniques to increase the yield in agricultural output without increasing the need for land supply, protecting remaining sections of natural habitats, preserving habitats of nearly extinct species, etc.
→ Overpopulation — When numbers of a type of organism exceed the carrying capacity it attributes to the overpopulation of its natural habitat; this dangerous and unstoppable force is most often associated with human population growth and the damaging impact it continues to reek upon the Earth. Simply, overpopulation does not depend on the size or the density but also the ratio, as all three must be considered when looking further into sustainable resources. Overpopulation typically occurs with increased birth rates, decreased death rates due to the advances of modern day medical advances, increases in immigration to a particular area, and so on; quickly natural resources are depleted, in full. Resource determinations when evaluating overpopulation include clean water, food, shelter, and warmth; as well as other wherewithal to sustain life. Scientific research also includes the quality of life as stresses to sustaining resources produce hardships which diminish quality of life. In this case, organisms consume resources faster than they can be renewed. Also results via human actions are destroying Earth’s top soil by chemical contamination to produce quick growth of food; human actions are also consuming fossil fuels at a dangerously high rate leading to global warming, with the more people the larger the increase.
→ Pollution — Contaminants into an environment, is known as pollution; these contaminants cause instability, disorder, harm, and/or discomfort to the eco-system – which contaminate and kill. Pollution takes place in several vast forms that include chemical substances, energy, noise, light, and heat; and can be both naturally occurring and unnatural in its occurrences. Scientific data, from 2007 indicate that the globes top pollution production locations include China, India, Russia, Ukraine, and Zambia; with the leader Azerbaijan. Adverse air quality can kill many organisms, including humans; ozone is a leading cause for respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, throat inflammation, chest pain, and/or congestion in humans. Water pollution in itself kills up to 14,000 humans each day, mainly due to sewage contamination; while over 656,000 die premature deaths in China each year because of its air pollution. Studies conducted in the United States show that 50,000 may be killed annually, from some sort of pollution; while Canada refuses to comply with environmental regulations for environmental awareness. Noise pollution induces hearing loss, stress, sleep disturbances, and high blood pressure; also ascribed to serious medial concerns and even the possibility of human death. Additionally; mercury, lead, and various heavy metal compounds increase moderate to severe neurological problems in children and adults, lead to higher than normal infant mortality rates, and charted over centuries at a rate growing off charts lead in the cause of birth defects.
→ Sea Level Rise — Occurring at a rate of 1.8 mm from the prior century, current research revel alarming trends; with the effects of global warning rates started increasing near 2.8 and 3.1 each year, alone, between 1993 and 2003. Increasing temperatures result directly in sea level rise by thermal expansion of water; additional to the water being let into the oceans by melting ice sheets of both poles. Values for predicted sea level rise over the course of the next century are predicted at 90 to 880 mm; with a rise of 1.3 meters in the next century alone. The largest concern is that of global warming melting polar ice caps, which would yield a rise above 880 mm; and is primary based on how quickly the sea can sustain balance line altitudes.
As chronicled from the above educational sources, each environmental concern reserves a adjacent link with a second and third; in a hazardous domino effect — this domino effect has the global potential of destroying Mother Earth and all life on the planet. Science continues to pay close attention to all environmental impacted sources; measuring them and releasing data to provide a deeper education that must be known. Responsibility cannot be achieved by a single individual, nor should one bear the weight as Mother Earth has; by far this should be a global effort to return to the proper yield in nature respect of the primate man.
